Refund Policy

Effective Date: 1 January 2025

This Refund Policy applies to payments made for services provided by myhousingsociety through our mobile application and website (www.myhousingsociety.in).

General Policy

All payments made through the myhousingsociety application are considered final. We do not offer refunds once a payment has been successfully processed, except in cases explicitly mentioned in this policy.

Duplicate or Failed Transactions

If an amount is debited from your account more than once for the same transaction, or if a payment fails but the amount is debited, the excess amount will be automatically reversed by the payment gateway or your bank.

Such reversals are processed as per PhonePe and respective bank policies and usually reflect within 5–7 working days.

Service Non-Usage

No refunds will be provided for non-usage of the service after a successful payment, including cases where the user chooses not to use the application or discontinues usage.

Cancellations

Cancellations are applicable only for future billing cycles, if enabled by the society or administrator. Any cancellation request after a billing cycle has started will not be eligible for a refund.

Subscription & Society Charges

Payments made towards society maintenance, bills, subscriptions, or other community-related charges are collected on behalf of the society or service provider and are non-refundable.

Payment Gateway Responsibility

All payments are securely processed through third-party payment gateways such as PhonePe. We do not control payment authorization, processing delays, or bank-side failures.

myhousingsociety shall not be held responsible for delays or failures caused by payment gateways or banking institutions.
